Live only to work!
I think that the main issue with journalism is that people who work in -for example- a radio station or in television, they don´t have time for nothing. People -I am talking about the real workers, not the TV faces that you see hosting the TV news- work like 12, maybe 14 hours a day, it means like 60 or 65 hours a week -monday to friday-, so it is really exhausting.
I think that is the thing the I really hate about journalism. You really don´t have time to do anything besides work. You really sacrifice time with your family, friends, girlfriend or boyfriends. Maybe time to just do nothing, to exercise, do whatever you like.
And, besides that, the money is not that good. I really hate that, there is like a common sense, that you really have to struggle when you are starting, but I think that with that concept, you accept everything: abuse, and why not, exploitation.
I work since 2017 in a radio station, a really important one, and it is not a nice work. I only do it to haver more experience. Anyway, I really hope that this change, and we all can enjoy of our work but mostly of our life!
